ABOUT CAGED NO MORE

Aggie, A 67 year-old Black Cajun, has just stepped into her worst nightmare. Her two granddaughters have disappeared, and the only clue she possesses is a forgotten laptop. Aware she only has a short window of time, she feels helpless to save them as her money and influence are scarce. Desperate to get her girls back, Aggie risks everything to cross paths with Richard and Lottie DuMonde, two of the wealthiest and most connected people in New Orleans. Certainly, once they hear her story, they will help. But what Aggie doesn't foresee is the dark world she's about to step into, or the dangers accompanying the rescue needed to bring her girls home.

MY REVIEW
Caged No More is inspired by real events. This DVD is well put together. It shows how somWord e parents when they don’t have any other way out of their money troubles will go as far as selling their children.
The actors and actresses are Loretta Devine, Kevin Sorbo, Alan Powell and Cassidy Gifford.
It’s really sad to see that these poor sweet girls get locked in a room and live a life of pure terror day after day. There isn’t any escaping unless they die.
In Caged No More the story is about two sisters. One who already was sold and one that is close to being sold into the sex trade.
The DVD shows how people fight for these girls to get them out, but also how some never make it out. A grandmother, the girls Uncle and his son are some that fight this fight. They have to go through a lot and see a lot.
The movie Caged No More ends good, but it is still sad because you know that this will continue to go on for many others.
This is an excellent movie, but it isn’t for younger children. Some scenes will be upsetting, but things like this have to be brought to our attention.
Highly recommend.

In Plain Sight stories of hope and freedom REVIEW AND GIVEAWAY

ABOUT IN PLAIN SIGHT STORIES OF HOPE AND FREEDOM
You may have heard the term sex trafficking and thought that it was just an international issue. While the term trafficking may conjure images of desperate illegal immigrants being forced into prostitution by human smugglers, over 80 percent of victims in 2011 confirmed sex trafficking cases in this country were American citizens. Or, maybe, you heard about the recent case in Ohio where three girls were kidnapped and kept as sex slaves...and you thought it was just one guy with a serious problem. Think again. It s happening in plain sight, and you probably don t even realize it.

MY REVIEW
In Plain Sight stories of Hope and Freedom is a moving, sad, but a movie full of hope. It talks about sex trafficking, but not in other 3rd world countries, but here in the U.S. Not just in big cities, but in rural and small areas everywhere.
Here are some facts for you to read:
Over 80 percent of victims in 2011 confirmed sex trafficking cases in this country were American citizens. 80% of sex trafficking victims are women and girls and up to 50% are minors .
90% of prostituted women have been physically abused as children .
70% of sex trafficking is linked to organized crime .
75% of prostituted women have attempted suicide.
The average age for girls trafficked into prostitution in the US is 12-14.
 A pimp’s yearly income is around $632,000.
Some of the names of the homes these ladies opened to help the victims are:
Courage Worldwide
Hope for Justice
Redeemed Ministries
P.A.T.H
The Samaritan Woman
Traffick911
These homes are such peaceful, beautiful places for the victims to live in while they learn how to take care of themselves and heal. All of the homes have a strong Biblical base and are free with no expectations for the women and girls. Their job is just to heal and learn that there is good out there.
This film is such an important one and we all need to help in any way we can. Don’t just close your ears and shut your eyes to this trafficking, but help. Go to the movie site and see what all you can do to help.
I highly recommend this movie for the things it can tell us that are happening right where we live. We can’t sit in silence anymore.
