MY REVIEW
  Book three in the Sunset Cove series. I read book one and book three. Book two just slipped by me. Anyway each book can be read separately, but it really helps if you’ve read the whole series.
  I love the way Colleen Coble writes. She is very realistic and has such an interesting way with words.
  Kate has been through so much with her Uncle and Mother being in prison and her twin sister being kidnapped when they were very young.
  Mysteries keep happening. Now a man’s brother and his wife are dead. The police say it was murder/suicide, but he doesn’t believe. So now Drake has two nieces to raise. He goes to the place where they were mudered to find out all he can. He stays at a cottage Kate put up for rent and she agrees to watch his nieces.
  This book is full of danger, suspense, love, forgiveness and believing in yourself.

MY REVIEW
   A Royal Easter Story by Jeanna Young and Jacqueline Johnson is a brilliant book. The colors and pictures are just fascinating.
   a group of five sisters that are planning to attend their kingdom’s Easter celebration. They encounter some troubles – weather, physical, and spiritual. They have to determine the best, thing to do to help a new friend.
  It shows how the princess’ have to make decisions and also praying for the Lord to help them. The prayer they prayed when in a bad storm was so sweet and just wonderful.
  Any child would love this for the fun, adventure, scary situations and the beautiful celebration of the Risen Lord.
  Very highly recommended. A beautiful gift for children, grandchildren or any child. Really a charming, inspiring gift.

MY REVIEW
  Whispers in the Reading Room is a very sweet, tender love story, but one filled with suspense and intrigue.  I love this authors style and her characters are amazing. This is book three in the series-A Chicago World‘s Fair Mystery. I hadn’t read the other books, but thoroughly enjoyed this one. It can easily be a stand alone book.  I would really love to read the first two books now.
  Lydia works at a library and hides away in her books. She was once from a wealthy family, but there fortune failed. Her mother wants her to marry well so she will be taken care of.
  She meets Sebastian when he comes to her reading room. They never talk, but she always looks out for him.
  Lydia finds out many dark things about Sebastian, but still enjoys his friendship. Only when someone she knows personal is murdered does she wonder what Sebastian is capable of.
  Read this amazing book to find out if Sebastian and Lydia become more than friends. Find out who killed Lydia’s former friend. The many things people go through, but don’t give up. An amazing read full of love, suspense and faith. Highly recommended.

   Read and Share 5 Minute Bible Stories is such an excellent book. The stories are retold, by Gwen Ellis.
The size of the book is fantastic. It is an 8x10 and such lovely pictures that we come to expect with the Read and Share books. Just looking at the pictures you could guess the stories, but the words add so much more.  The stories go from Genesis to Revelation.
  In this Bible book you will find adventures and learn things about God that your child will love to hear. These stories and pictures will be imprinted on your child’s heart and in their minds forever. Really a beautiful book that is a amazing gift idea. Full of fun, adventure and truths. MY REVIEW
 I haven’t read any books by Colleen Coble for awhile and had forgotten what an excellent author she is. Reading one of her books will keep you reading late into the night and on the edge of your seat.
  I just finished The Inn at Ocean's Edge and all I can say is WOW, what a great story.
 I love the characters, story line and every single thing about it. Just when I think I have the story figured out Colleen throws up another road block. She is an amazing author.
  Claire and Luke are so very different, but also so very much alike. They meet quite by chance and the things that link them together are remarkable. His mother was killed and they think Claire was there and witnessed it when she was only 4. She doesn’t remember anything, but that was 20 some years ago.
Will Claire remember, will Luke keep his distance, because he isn’t in the same class as Claire? Will they find the killer who is after Claire now before he succeeds?
  Love this book and give it 5-stars plus more if I could. Highly recommended book. A must read.

MY REVIEW
A Heart’s Disguise is book one in the Journey of the Heart series. This is the first of six novellas in the series, being released each month for the next six months. Very short books that can be read in one sitting easily.
  I really enjoyed it, but it just seemed to get started and the book was over. Colleen Coble is an excellent author, I love her writing style. I think it would be better if you got the whole set at once and read them right together.
The story line and characters are well-developed. The action is truly captivating.
My favorite character so far is Sara. She seems so lost and alone in this first book and I know she thinks she made the right decision, but I think she should have thought through everything more.
I will recommend this book, but if you can order the whole set as it will give you a lot more enjoyment.

MY REVIEW
  Twisted Innocence by Terri Blackstock is another fantastic book by a fantastic author. I’ve read many of Terri’s books and have enjoyed them all.
  In Twisted Innocence the characters are so well developed that they seem so very real. You will come to love Holly and her tiny baby and pull for her that things will turn out O.K. for her for once in her life.
  Also Creed is going through so many obstacles and hardships, but both Holly and Creed know that the things that are happening in their lives is because they started down the wrong path. They brought the trouble on themselves, but now they want to follow what’s right and start over. That’s so very hard when you get involved with drug dealers and have the wrong kind of friends that influence you.
  I really like this book because it shows us ever if we start out wrong we can turn it all around with the help of God, family and friends. I highly recommend this book.

MY REVIEW
  I really, really love this book, The 13th Tribe by Robert Liparulo.  It’s a fiction suspense type of book.
  It tells a story starting with Moses and Mt. Sinai and how the Israelites grew tried of waiting for Moses and how they started worshipping the golden calf. The 13th Tribe is a group of Israelites who were punished with immortal life. They could never die and never go to rest in Heaven. They thought their plot in life was to end all evil, by killing sinners and earning their entrance into Heaven. Since they have lived for thousands of years they are very smart in all kinds of way, technology and warfare just to name a couple.
  This book is also about Jagger who is head of security for an archaeological dig on Mt. Sinai. He is really having trouble with the death of his best friend and his family.
  Then Jagger meets the 13th Tribe. That is when the action begins. This book is so suspenseful and full of great action that you won’t be able to put it down. I just love this book and I highly recommend it.

MY REVIEW
   Still Life by Christa Parrish is an extremely wonderful story. It shows us how much how our lives affect others. Even those we don’t know. How our decisions bad or good can bring conflict to others.
  Still Life is two stories intertwined into one.  Adah was born and raised in a very strict religious group. Where women and girls had no rights or privileges.
  Adah works at the farm store where she met Julian and just by one meeting God gave them both the same feeling that they were to be married. So Adah leaves secretly and they marry. It is hard for them both. She doesn’t know how a normal person acts unless someone tells her what to do. Julian works with her and tells her things she needs to do.
  Adah never had a birthday party and Julian wants to give her one, but he is out at a job and tries to get back for her birthday.
  The other story is about Katherine and her family. How she thinks only of herself and how she gives up her plane seat to Julian so she can indulge in more of her sin.
  Adah and Katherine both change and this book Still Life tells how they did it. It isn’t a soft kind of read. It will make you think and realize that no matter what you do others will be affected. I highly recommend Still Life. An excellent addition to any library.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Robert Whitlow grew up in north Georgia. He graduated magna cum laude from Furman University with a BA in history in 1976 and received his JD with honors from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1979. A practicing attorney, he is a partner in a Charlotte, NC law firm. He and his wife Kathy have four children and three grandchildren.
Robert began writing in 1996. His novels are set in the South and include both legal suspense and interesting characterization. It is his desire to write stories that reveal some of the ways God interacts with people in realistic scenerios.



MY REVIEW
   The Confession by Robert Whitlow is an excellent book.  It shows us we can come to conclusions about different things and be totally wrong. We can hold hate or anger in our hearts about something that happened or hold onto anger because you have been wronged, but the only way to live is to have true forgiveness and continue with your life.
  In this book Holt is hiding something, but tries to put it out of his mind. He tries to right the wrong that others  are doing, while he keeps his past secret.
  The Confession is full of mystery, intrigue, suspense and even romance. In this novel there are so many twists and turns that you will be amazed at the outcome of the story. I really love a good suspenseful book and The Confession did not disappoint.  I highly recommend this book. It will be a favorite of yours. Very, very good book.

MY REVIEW
    Spirit Bridge by James L. Rubart is book 3 in the Well Spring novel series. I’ve read the first two books in the Well Spring series and was really looking forward to Spirit Bridge. What an excellent conclusion to the series.
   The last battle/quest that the Warriors Riding have is truly amazing.  It makes you think really things like this can and do happen all of the time. It’s not just a make believe story. When we allow sin to stay in our hearts that is when the devil will enter in.
  I really love all of the characters in this series and will miss them a lot, but I so enjoyed meeting them and getting to know them. I was surprised how Reece was tempted in Spirit Bridge and how he fell to the temptation.  Just like we do when we allow sin in. I always considered him to be so strong.
   The ending was so very, very fantastic, full of adventure and excitement with the sweetness of love thrown in. What a fantastic series. I love these books. I highly recommend them and know you will love the Warriors Riding.
