Eyes Wide Open by Ted Dekker A REVIEW

First in the newest series from Ted Dekker, master of suspense, whose books have sold 9 million copies. Humming with intensity, Eyes Wide Open is a raw adrenaline rush from first page to last.
My name is Christy Snow. I'm seventeen and I'm about to die. I'm buried in a coffin under tons of concrete. No one knows where I am. My heart sounds like a monster with clobber feet, running straight toward me. I'm lying on my back, soaked with sweat from the hair on my head to the soles of my feet. My hands and feet won't stop shaking. Some will say that I'm not really here. Some will say I'm delusional. Some will say that I don't even exist. But who are they? I'm the one buried in a grave. My name is Christy Snow. I'm seventeen and I'm about to die.

MY REVIEW
Eyes Wide Open by Ted Dekker starts his newest series, The Outlaw Chronicles.  I love Ted Dekker’s books and starting a new series is very exciting.
The first page of Eyes Wide Open caught me and I couldn’t wait to see how this one turned out. What an exciting beginning.
The characters are very real and you can experience what they are right along with them. Ted always described things in such a way that you feel like you are there and going through the same things.
I really like Christy and Austin. How they are so similar in some ways, but totally opposite in others. They really care for each other and are there for each other.
I’m really excited about this series and love the first story and how it turned out. I’m always amazed how Ted ends his stories. They are always surprising and refreshing. Not the same old things some authors write about. I highly recommend this 5-star book. I bought this myself and didn’t have to review it, but I love it and wanted others to know.
