After taking care of the Tollivers, hero Jack returns to Coal Valley. His ex-fiancée Rosemary LeVeaux also arrives. Rosemary broke up with him long ago to become an actress. However, she now seeks to make Coal Valley her home and Jack her husband, putting Elizabeth at odds with Jack. Meanwhile, he has asked forensic investigator and friend Bill Avery to help Abigail in regards to Gowen, the mining company and the explosion. As Bill works with Abigail, he becomes attracted in her, admitting his intentions to Jack. Abigail also has the same purpose. Elizabeth receives news from back home, causing her to consider leaving Coal Valley.

MY REVIEW
   The next story in the When Calls the Heart series, Rules of Engagement is the best one yet. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
  Rules of Engagement is a very tender, compassionate story.
  Jack and Elizabeth are getting along very well, until  someone from Jack’s past comes to town.
   A new character Bill who is investigating the mine cave-in, who is very attentive to Abigail. They work together to expose what happened at the mine.
   Rules of Engagement stops at a cliff hanging scene so I know their will be more and I look forward to it. Really did enjoy this DVD and look forward to the next one.
  Michael Landon Jr. and Hallmark make the best movies. Get this series for your DVD library. It will be well worth your time and money. This is a 5-star DVD. Highly recommended.

MY REVIEW
  Rumors of Wars is a really interesting, suspenseful drama. I like how they show two different stories. One shows a college student and how she keeps a diary of the events happening in her life and how she tries to escape from the people forcing a chip into her hand. She studies about the end times and writes everything down.
  The second story is happens years later. It tells of all of the mayhem and trouble with the end times. How Christians are captured and killed. How no one wants the Christians around. They blame all of the troubles of the modern age on the Christians. One solider finds her diary and reads it. It’s amazing what a few words can do to a person.
  Quite a good movie that will start you thinking and make you want to change for the better. Very good end times story. I recommend this for all groups.

Jack finally gets Elizabeth to agree to join him for a dinner date just as Elizabeth's young sister, JULIE THATCHER, arrives in Coal Valley, surprising Elizabeth. Julie is accompanied by Mountie PATRICK O'REILLY, the man who has been sent to inform Jack of his new posting, and become the new Constable of Coal Valley. Jack had already forgotten that he sent in a request to transfer the week he arrived in Coal Valley, and the news takes him by surprise. As Jack is making his way towards his new posting, he crosses paths with some fellow Mounties who are on the hunt for the infamous TOLLIVER GANG, who are currently scouring the countryside in an attempt to reunite with Nate. Meanwhile, Nate Tolliver is recovering at Abigail's and continues to charm Julie, claiming that he is going to abandon his life of crime for her. Abigail continues to aide Jack's investigation of the mine disaster by stealing a file from Gowen's office. Patrick visits Abigail's to offer her assistance in Nate's recovery, he instantly recognizes Nate and sends for reinforcements. MY REVIEW
  When Calls the Heart series is really an excellent group of movies. This one Change of Heart is the very best yet. I really enjoyed the actors and scenes. The story line was new and fresh.
  Julie’s sister comes to visit and brings trouble with her, just as she did back home.
  Jack and Elizabeth have become closer and have started a new deeper relationship.
  Julie finds someone to like/love, but is he who she thinks he is?
  Also Abigail finds evidence that could bring closure to many in Coal Valley.
  Watching this DVD Change of Heart will answer those and many more questions. Really a fantastic DVD that I highly recommend.

  When Calls the Heart Second Chances with Erin Krakow and Daniel Lissing is another fantastic adventure in the When Calls the Heart series inspired by Janette Oke.
  In this DVD Elizabeth and Jack try to become friends again, Elizabeth tries to help out one of her students who has a reading problem, Abigail wants to open an abandoned café and Adam Miller comes home from the hospital, he was the only survivor of the coal mining accident, with only one leg. So you put all of these great plots together and you have one fantastic movie.
  The acting, scenery and talent of this DVD are excellent.
    You have very funny scenes and also scenes that are very serious. It all comes together to form one great DVD. I recommend this DVD When Calls the Heart Second Chances.

MY REVIEW
  I really enjoyed When Calls The Heart - The Dance. It is a Hallmark movie inspired by the best selling series by Janette Oke.
  This DVD doesn’t go along with the book series. It tells a story of the Elizabeth from the book series niece Elizabeth.
  It is continuing from the first DVD when Elizabeth goes West to teach those that no one else wants to teach. In this DVD men from another town come and help run the coal mine and they have quite a few adventures. Not all of the adventures are good ones either.
  I really enjoyed the part when the widow Carla is close to having a baby and no one really knows how to help or deliver a baby, but it all comes together.
   Some things are getting stolen and some lives are changing. Some good and some bad in all situations. I know you will love this DVD The Dance. I highly recommend it.

MY REVIEW
I’ve read all of Janette Oke’s Canadian West series which starts with the book When Calls the Heart. I really loved this series and while this DVD When Calls the Heart is a lot alike the book it is different also. I wish the DVD was more like the book. In the book it just tells the story of Elizabeth and Wynn but the DVD tells of two separate stories. The Elizabeth of the book is the Aunt in this DVD while another Elizabeth is the niece. They both are from privileged families and both want to be school teachers, both ends up teaching in the Wild West. Another thing both start to like Canadian Mounties.  It’s like a story told twice in this movie.
  I do love the characters and the acting is tremendously good. The settings and scenery are excellent. This could be a 5-star DVD if it only had one story line.
  Even though I don’t like the two story lines I still think this is an excellent DVD to buy and watch. Great love story.
