MY REVIEW
  Skin by Ted Dekker is a novel written in 2007, and I think it is just a fantastic book. I always enjoyed Ted’s books. They are always full of surprises with plenty of twists and turns. You never know where his books will lead you.
  This book, Skin started with a horrible storm with caused three tornadoes in one place. With that put a killer that is quicker than the faster gun and much death and destruction and you have a book that is a winner.
   Four people, all strangers, the local sheriff, Colt, Wendy, a recovering cult survivor, Carey and Nicole, a brother and sister are then joined by Pinkus and they are all fighting the killer Red.
  The book explores the question what is true beauty. Red wants them to chose who is the ugliest to die. What makes a people ugly, looks, actions etc…  That’s why this book is called Skin.
  You’ll be amazed at what this story is really about and how it plays out. This kind of novel is only for people who love strange stories and weird and unusual endings.
  I will highly recommend this book to all of you weird people like me. Fantastic read!

MY REVIEW
  A.D. 30 is a really different kind of book than we are use to from Ted Dekker.
  We follow Maviah as she journeys through many different obstacles in her life. We watch her grow and change and become the woman God wants her to be.
  Judah is such a strong person who never gives up and one of my favorite lines of his is “I am Judah.”
  I really didn’t care for the first part of this book. I think the part of walking through the desert took to long and didn’t hold my interest.  It started to get more interesting after they got to King Herod. I enjoyed starting there and the rest of the book.
   I like their steadfast faith and characters and how they handled every situation that arose.
 My favorite part was the fight at the end between Maviah and her brother. Very, very good.
  I highly recommend this book to Ted Dekker fans and to many people who will be his new fans. Just don’t look for his usual thriller type of book.

MY REVIEW
  There has never been a Ted Dekker book that I haven’t loved. He knows how to capture you in a book and keep you there. Hacker is part of The Outlaw Chronicles and I just loved this one.
  Nyah {love that name} is only seventeen, but in her short life she has lived a lifetime. It is full of adventure, but plenty of loss and heartache. She can hack anything and get in anywhere, but the last time she went to far and crimeals are out to get her.
  Her mom is dying and also her best friend. How can she help them and save herself.  Nyah and Austin can only think of one thing that could help going inside and hacking their brains. Could they go deep enough to save her mom and Austin.
  Hacker is full of heart-stopping/heart-dropping suspense. Highly recommended. Love this book.

MY REVIEW
  Eyes Wide Open by Ted Dekker starts his newest series, The Outlaw Chronicles.  I love Ted Dekker’s books and starting a new series is very exciting.
  The first page of Eyes Wide Open caught me and I couldn’t wait to see how this one turned out. What an exciting beginning.
   The characters are very real and you can experience what they are right along with them. Ted always described things in such a way that you feel like you are there and going through the same things.
  I really like Christy and Austin. How they are so similar in some ways, but totally opposite in others. They really care for each other and are there for each other.
I’m really excited about this series and love the first story and how it turned out. I’m always amazed how Ted ends his stories. They are always surprising and refreshing. Not the same old things some authors write about. I highly recommend this 5-star book. I bought this myself and didn’t have to review it, but I love it and wanted others to know.

Really a fantastic book by Ted Dekker. Water Walker from the very first chapter, even first line grabbed me and I couldn’t wait to read every word and find out what happened next. Alice got into such a mess that I felt that there was no way she would ever get out or even live, but Ted pulled it through again at the very end. Water Walker is part of The Outlaw Chronicles. You don’t need to read The Outlaw, but it gives you back story. Also if you want to know the whole story you should also read Showdown, another unbelievable  book.
  I love how Ted works forgiving everyone and knowing no matter what happens to you on this earth it’s just happens to your outside shell. A very well written, highly interesting book. I very much recommend Water Walker. I didn’t review this for any publishing company or for the author. I just wanted everyone to know what an excellent book this is.

MY REVIEW
  Outlaw by Ted Dekker is a brilliant read, but different than his other books. Ted describes the places and people so well you feel like you are there and experiencing these same things.
  Outlaw is a story about a young woman Julian whom had a dream and it occurred very often. She believed it was telling her to take her son and go to a different land to be a missionary.  They were involved in a shipwreck and that is where the story starts.
  Ted has said that Outlaw is a book closer to his real self than all of the others. One part of Outlaw talks about everyone having two selves. One part right now we are putting on costumes like being a mother, doctor, teacher, son, and that self can be killed, but our other true self is our spiritual self which will live forever. It is a very sweet, touching look at what we really are and how we should contemplate on this.
One of my favorite lines in Outlaw are these words “The roles you identify with are not the true you, they are only the costume you wear for a short time.”
  This is a book that I wish everyone would read. I highly recommend it. Another excellent book by Ted Dekker.

MY REVIEW
 Ted Dekker is one of my most favorite authors and when I get a chance to read and review one of his books I feel blessed. I’ve read Blessed Child years ago and loved it so I read it again to review it.
  This is a story about three people and what they went through and how they came to love each other. Caleb is a sweet, compassionate boy who amazes and surprises everyone he meets. He just loves the Lord so much that it just shines through him. He is close to the Lord because he is so innocent.  Jason saves Caleb from his home before soldiers come and destroy it. Jason has a very sad, hurting past in which he lost his young son and wife. He just can’t love God because Jason believes he doesn’t care for us humans.
Leiah is a very scarred person on the inside and on the outside. She doesn’t trust or love anyone.
Then these three come together in a horrible run for their lives. Why is someone after Caleb and will they stop when they reach the US? Full of suspense, love, forgiveness and the sweet love of our Lord.
  Highly recommend this wonderful book. Blessed Child by Ted Dekker and Bill Bright.

MY REVIEW
  I enjoyed the first book I read of Danny the priest and this one was just as good. I didn’t see any way it could end well, but it did.
  The love Danny and Renee have for each other is amazing. Even when they are separated for years when he is in prison, they still have such a strong love that nothing or no one can change.
  Danny has taken a code of not being violent and has kept to it for years, but he get transferred to a new prison where the warden is determined to make Danny pay for his sins and tries to get Danny to be violent. What does it take to make Danny violent or will he become violent?
  Renee tries to help Danny because she has been told that he will die if she doesn’t do the crazy, insane requests of someone who is tormenting her. She gets help from a former cop/lawyer. Is he a help or hindrance to Renee?
  I enjoyed this book, because it is full of thrilling scenes and won’t let you put it down until you reach the last page. I LOVED the ending. If you are a thriller fan or fan of Ted Dekker you really will want to read this book.

MY REVIEW
  All of Ted Dekker’s books are fantastic, but this one is one of the best. I was pulled in even before the first chapter.
  Ted’s books are so smooth and it’s like reading about something that really happened, because it seems so real.
  I always am amazed at how Ted’s books end. I’m always surprised and the ending is never as I would expect them to be.
  The Priest’s Graveyard is different than most books I’ve read, because the main characters are the murders and you get to really care for them and want them to be happy. I know it’s weird, but Ted writes in such a way that you understand them and can imaigine yourself doing as they did. Don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t ever do anything that was wrong, but when someone is pushed too much they snap.
  The characters are very strong and it keeps the story moving at a very fast pace. There isn’t a dull moment in this story and you will hate for it to end.
  The last few chapters things get so mixed up you wonder what will happen. Will things work out or will everything end in catastrophe? I would never have had things to end as they did, but it was just a perfect ending.
  If you love books full of suspense and much excitement you will love this book. The Priest’s Graveyard, I highly recommend and will be keeping this book on my bookshelf.

MY REVIEW
This book Forbidden by Ted Dekker and Tosca Lee is one of the best books I’ve read of Ted’s. It is another series that will be as good if not better than the Circle series. I’m so glad that there will be more books with these characters, because they become a part of your life, when you read this fantastic book.
It would be hard to imagine a world without love, peace and joy, but in this world they only feel fear. The people in this book are called living corpses, because they don’t feel anything other than fear. They just do the same things over and over without feeling just, because it needs doing. Then Rom is handed a vial of blood that promises life. Will he drink it and expose himself to new life, new feelings? How about his family and friends? Will it be worth it in the end? To find out all of the answers read Forbidden, you will be glad you did.
There is lots of action and adventure; you won’t be able to stop reading. If I read a book and can’t wait for the next one I know it’s a winning story, as this one is.
You will also read about love, passion, joy, great heartache and that comes from a book that is about people with only the feeling of fear. So you will be missing something if you don’t read it.
I highly recommend this book Forbidden. I will be keeping my copy and love it. I got this as an ebook. The only thing I didn’t like about the ebook is that a lot of the words were all together in one line. No space between the words. That has nothing to do with the book, just thought I would mention it. This book will receive a 5 star rating.

MY REVIEW

With each book I read of Ted Dekker’s I can see more and more why he is always on the New York Times bestsellers list. The Bride Collector is a fantastic, adrenaline rushing book filled with so many twists and turns you won’t know what is coming next.

I’m usually fairly good at guessing what is coming up in a book, but I could never do that with a Ted Dekker book. He comes up with the strangest kind of murder methods and really weird criminals, but I love his stories.

I think everyone will relate to Paradise-the main woman character. She is in the private home for the mental ill and she doesn’t trust any man because of her past, but she gets to know Brad the FBI agent and you will see how they become friends.

Some parts of this book were really shocking to me, but I love that kind of story. Many surprises and they aren’t all good.

Ted is very good at describing scenes and people, which is another reason this book is so good. I like how Ted brings all of the people together and how it ends.

The Bride Collector is a serial killer, who gets all of the beautiful, young women and kills them in the name of love. The killer doesn't leave any prints or clues until he leaves a note giving a hint at the next location.

The four people in the mental home were such neat people and were really made to come alive for me. I could feel their sadness and heartaches, but joy at being able to help in the investigation.

If you are a fan of suspenseful books with lots of graphic details and gory descriptions this book is for you. I really enjoyed it and recommend it to you if you like this wonderful kind of book. Ted is a fantastic author who keeps writing best sellers.
