Everything is Possible by Jen Bricker A Review

ABOUT EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE
Born without Legs, She Inspires Others to Overcome

Jen Bricker was born without legs. Shocked and uncertain they could care for her, her biological parents gave her up for adoption. In her loving adoptive home, there was just one simple rule: "Never say 'can't.'" And pretty soon, there was nothing this small but mighty powerhouse set her sights on that she couldn't conquer: roller-skating, volleyball, power tumbling, and spinning from silk ribbons thirty feet in the air.

Everything Is Possible is her incredible story--a story of God working out his plan for her life from before day one. Readers follow Jen from the challenges of growing up different to holding captive audiences numbering in the tens of thousands. Everything Is Possible shows readers what they can accomplish when they remove the words coincidence and limitation from their vocabulary. Filled with heart and spirit, as well as Jen's wit, wisdom, and no-holds-barred honesty, this inspiring true story points the way to purpose and joy. Foreword by Nick Vujicic.

MY REVIEW
Everything is Possible by Jen Bricker is an amazing book. Jen was born without legs and her parents left her at the hospital. She was adopted by a wonderful family who said Never say can’t. So Jen did everything everyone else did she didn’t let anything hold her back.
Jen really loves the Lord and clings to Him for everything. She has done many things already in her young life and has big plans for the future. She is such a funny, wise girl and you will love her outlook on life.
It’s an amazing thing how Jen found her sisters and Mom and how they now love each other.
I recommend this book, because it will lift you up from your everyday life. Very good.

The Boy Born Dead by David Ring with John Driver and David Wideman A Review

In 1953, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, a baby boy was born--dead. The attending physician set his little body aside and tended to his mother for eighteen minutes. Now, more than sixty years later, that boy leads an internationally known ministry that encourages hundreds of thousands every year. The Boy Born Dead tells his incredible story from the perspective of his best friend, David Wideman.

As a teenager in the small town of Liberty, Missouri, in the late 1960s, David Ring grew up with the challenges that come with cerebral palsy, a result of his eighteen minutes of newborn silence. Along with his physical limitations, Ring was orphaned and shuffled from home to home, finally landing in an abusive situation that made him feel unworthy of love and, eventually, unworthy of life. But God had a purpose for Ring's life, and sent an agent to help him achieve it. Through the friendship of David Wideman, a boy he met in the halls of Liberty High School, Ring found strength he didn't know he had and went on to face his demons, marry the love of his life, and start an international speaking ministry.

Full of hope, this moving story illustrates how friendship and love triumph over adversity. Anyone who faces tough times will treasure this story of hope and courage.

MY REVIEW
The Boy Born Dead is a truly amazing book. It is a story of friendship, courage, and triumph. This is the true story of David Ring told by David himself with the help of John Driver and his best friend David Wideman. I love stories where people have disabilities or tragedies and come through and are strong for the Lord. This is an amazing story of David whom was born dead and didn’t breath until 18 minutes later. As a result David has cerebral palsy. David when through so much and felt he couldn’t take anymore and tried to kill himself.
This book talks about the real difficulties and hardships of a young man that others teased, took advantage of and abused. Where do you go when there is no hope, no peace, no life? The place David went, to God.
This is such a remarkable book that is so full of truth, tragedy, hardship, peace, love and joy. Life for a teenager is hard enough, but when they have a disability it’s ten times harder.
I just love the courage and hope of this dear person. How with God’s help he overcame and is now a strong speaker for the Lord.
Amazing book. Read it and you will be inspired to do more for the Lord. I highly recommend this precious book.

MY REVIEW:

These three books may be little but, they are full of love, peace, comfort and joy. All of these booklets use the God’s Word Translation. The God’s Word Translation is very easy to understand and read. The Promises of Comfort booklet gives you many sections to look into. Some of them are Afraid, Childless, Lonely, Tempted and Waiting to name just a few. Each section has many, many Bible verses to help you in this area. The Hope for Today booklet gives John’s account of the life of Jesus. The first two chapters of this booklet are titled Hope for a Troubled World and Knowing What God Thinks about You. Then it goes into the book of John. After a number of verses they have a break to talk about something in the verses or to explain something. Then it goes on after the book of John to talk about The Basics of Faith and the Lord’s Prayer. The booklet Promises from God’s Word is just packed full of wonderful, inspiring Bible verses in many different categories. Some of them are Hope for Eternal Life, Hope for the Resurrection, Marriage as God Intended, The Mercy of the Son and on.
These three booklets can be carried anywhere and everywhere. They are very handy and offer a wealth of information that can be read over and over. These booklets have very colorful covers and the handy size makes them great booklets for yourself or as a gift. It would be a gift that is very much appreciated. I would recommend them very much.
