MY REVIEW
  Higher Hope by Robert Whitlow is a good novel, but not one of my favorites. I’ve read a lot of novels that Robert has written and love his style, but I thought this one was lacking. This is an older book, but glad I read it.
  I love stories that involve lawyers and crime. Higher Hope has both of those, but not as good as a story can be. I feel the main character Tami is a very indecisive woman. She feels one way about the cases or the guys she likes and them she changes.
  I like her one boyfriend she took home to meet her family better and he got permission to court her, but she is to fickle for me.
  She is studying to become a lawyer, but I don’t think that is her real calling in life.
Nothing really wrong with this book, but I didn’t care for it. Didn’t have a strong body to the story, but I will recommend it. Not bad.

Robert began writing in 1996. His novels are set in the South and include both legal suspense and interesting characterization. It is his desire to write stories that reveal some of the ways God interacts with people in realistic scenerios.



MY REVIEW
   The Confession by Robert Whitlow is an excellent book.  It shows us we can come to conclusions about different things and be totally wrong. We can hold hate or anger in our hearts about something that happened or hold onto anger because you have been wronged, but the only way to live is to have true forgiveness and continue with your life.
  In this book Holt is hiding something, but tries to put it out of his mind. He tries to right the wrong that others  are doing, while he keeps his past secret.
  The Confession is full of mystery, intrigue, suspense and even romance. In this novel there are so many twists and turns that you will be amazed at the outcome of the story. I really love a good suspenseful book and The Confession did not disappoint.  I highly recommend this book. It will be a favorite of yours. Very, very good book.

MY REVIEW
  The Living Room by Robert Whitlow is full of suspense and intrigue. I really loved reading this book. Robert Whitlow really knows how to keep you interested to the last page.
  Amy Clarke has been having dreams where she feels the Lord’s presence, but now her dreams are becoming real life events. If she doesn’t tell others about her dreams something serious will happen to them. Does she risk being called strange to reveal her dreams?
  I like a book where the characters are really close to God and consult him about all things.
  Amy is a writer, works as a legal secretary and wife and mother. Which keeps her extremely busy. Now she has to tell others about her dreams.
  I really recommend this book. It will keep you interested all of the way through. Many suspenseful events.

MY REVIEW
Robert Whitlow writes another winning book about law, lawyers, lies and deceit, but also full of love, compassion and faith in God. The three main characters, Tom, Rose and Elias are such winsome and easy to love characters.
Tom just goes to his hometown to close up his father’s business after he surprising death. He believes it will just be a very easy, quiet transition, but boy is he wrong.
The book was coming to a really nice part all things were working at then more major disasters happen. It is quite a ride through emotions. Several times this happens and I’m shocked and pleased at each part in this wonderful story.
I love the deep faith and love of God that Elias has. How he prays constantly for some people, even to the point of missing nights of sleep. Rose has deep faith also, but Tom hasn’t really thought about faith or God much at all during years of his life. Many things happen to awaken Tom up and he listens.
Also in Water’s Edge I love the friendship of some of the minor characters for Tom. How they remain friends even when the rest of the world is against him. They believe in him when the rest don’t want to have anything to do with them.
I really love books by Robert Whitlow and this one is one of his best. Highly recommend this book.
