MY REVIEW
  A Moment of Weakness by Karen Kingsbury is a very good novel. It is book two in the Forever Faithful series. Karen really keeps you attention with her books.
  Jade and Tanner grew up together and became fast friends. Tanner was always saying I will marry her one day. Family problems and Jade moved away and Tanner never knew what happened. His mother knew but she hated the Conner family.
   So they grew up and just happened to find each other again. They had a wonderful summer together and then they had to go on with their lives. Not to give the story away Tanner’s mother told Jade lies and hurt her so much she didn’t want anything to do with Tanner.
  Jade married another and Tanner never knew what happened. To make a long story short Jade’s husband wanted a divorce and wanted their son. So Jade gets Tanner to help fight for him.
  This is an amazing story, but so many hurtful things happen and Jade and Tanner’s mother use and deceive others. I don’t feel like this is a very realistic story. I know we are to forgive and understand how people can do such things, but in this book it is almost like they understood and forgave instantly.  Recommend this book, but not one of my favorites.

MY REVIEW
  Coming Home by Karen Kingsbury was a very emotional book.  It was full of great joy, sadness and peace with much tragedy.
  Coming Home is the final book in the Baxter series. Which involved about 18 or so books. I was hoping for a very sweet, happy ending, but it wasn’t meant to be. I do think this ending was much better, full of heartache, pray and longing. I knew from reading about Coming Home that some kind of tragedy, but expected one much different.
  The only part I didn’t care for in this book was the retelling of all of the sibling’s lives at their worse places in life and how they pulled through with God and their families. I know Karen probably did that to give those readers who didn’t read the original Baxter books back story, but it was like reading those books again. It wasn’t anything new. So I would have changed that part.
  The title has so many meanings in this story and find each one so wonderful. You can go home in a number of ways.
  A lot of readers don’t like the Baxter’s because they seem so perfect and close to God, but I like that and believe that there are people who are like that in real life. When I read a book I want to read about someone who is uplifting not someone who is always going through bad times and depend on themselves and not God.
So I recommend Coming Home to everyone. A great book to read if you’re a new Karen Kingsbury fan or been one for years.

MY REVIEW
  Well in the fourth and last book Loving of the Bailey Flanigan series we find out who Bailey marries and why. I really love the characters in this series because you get glimpses of the Flanigan and Baxter families and they are loved.
  I thought that the Bailey series went on to long and feel we could have found all of this out in a book or two. Everyone loves Bailey, but to much of a good thing is not good.
  I think Bailey made the right choice and I was hoping she would see things my way. It is finally nice to see everyone happy and finding what and who they are suppose to be with in life.
  Their were some tender, touching moments in Loving and I enjoyed reading it and read it faster than usual. I love books by Karen Kingsbury, because she really knows how to write a book and keep your interest right to the end.
  I also like in Loving that Bailey made some decisions that she really wanted to and didn’t let others tell her what to do. It seems like she grew up in this book.
  I highly recommend Loving for everyone and especially for you Karen Kingsbury fans. A great keeper of books.

MY REVIEW
  Books by Karen Kingsbury are some of my favorites and when you get two in one it’s even better. The first story in this Omnibus is
 LIKE DANDELION DUST. It tells the story of Rip, Wendy, Jack and Molly. Rip and Wendy are the natural parents of four-year-old Joey, but Rip is arrested for domestic violence and Wendy gives Joey up and doesn’t tell Rip. Jack and Molly are the ideal couple; they have it all, love, wealth and happiness, but no children. So they adopt Joey. When Rip gets out of prison he finds out about Joey and goes to court. It ends up that Joey has to go back and forth and get to know his real parents. It looks more and more like the natural parents will get Joey, so Jack hatches a scheme to take Joey to another country. Read this wonderful book to see what becomes of Joey and both sets of parents. It’s a real tear jerker for sure.
  THIS SIDE OF HEAVEN is the second story in this book and just as fantastic as the first. Josh was in a horrible accident and is always in a lot of pain. He loves God and his family. He has been waiting for years for the insurance settlement, but they keep dragging their feet. A mysterious woman from Josh’s past said he is a father, but there isn’t any proof. Does Josh believe her and does he get the money he needs? Also Josh’s mom thinks she is treating him right, but her opinions are strange. This story takes many twists and turns and right in the middle I was stunned at what happened. You won’t believe what happened or how this story ends. You have to read it to really grasp fully all of the different things going on. What a wonderful omnibus. I highly recommend this book and you will love it. These books talk about so many issues, but the main stories are about two beautiful children and their hopes and dreams to have a normal life.

MY REVIEW
  The third book in the Bailey Flanigan series was a surprise. The first two books were pretty predictable to me, but this one was different. I’m not liking the way the series is going, but hope things will turn around in the last book.
  Bailey and Brandon are getting along really good in Longing and I like that. I think they make a great couple, but I miss Bailey and Cody together. Cody is doing really good with his coaching and the team is undefeated. Cody and Cheyenne are getting along really well and have become fast friends.
  In Longing Cody and Bailey have a couple of really good talks that straighten up the past mistakes they have made, but they still aren’t back together.
 I’m really looking forward to Loving, book 4 and the end of the Bailey-Cody story. I want it to turn out one way, but have a feeling things won’t happen as I hope.
  I recommend this book. It is the best one in the Bailey Flanigan series so far.

MY REVIEW
In Learning Bailey and Cody are still denying their feelings for each other. Bailey is leaning that life isn’t always easy. When God gives us a chance to share our faith of pray for someone we need to do it immediately. We may never be given another chance. Things on Broadway aren’t going great. There is talk among her cast mates that Bailey only got he part because of her role in the movie with Brandon Paul.
Bailey won’t call/text Cody because she feels he needs to make the next move.
Cody is taking his losing high school football team to camp and teaching them how to care for each other. He wants them to grow close to God.
Both Bailey and Cody are growing closer to Brandon and Cheyenne, but will they forget the love they had for each other?
The other part of Learning Landon and Ashley as they find out about Landon’s lungs. Will he have a fatal disease and if so what will he do for his life work? Landon has only known and loved firefighting.
I feel this is the best part of the book, Ashley and Landon’s story.
I don’t care much for Bailey and Cody right now as they are making dumb mistakes and choices, but that is how we all learn. I love Karen Kingsbury books and recommend this one.

In this picture book, Karen Kingsbury tells the story of a boy in competition with other young knights to become prince of all the land. In a series of contests and competitions, the king recognizes the brave young knight as the winner, not because he was the fastest or strongest, and not because he was smarter or more cunning than the other knights. About the Illustrator
Gabrielle Grimard has been drawing since she was a very young child. Born in Montreal, Canada, she studied Fine Arts at Concordia University. She began her career as a muralist, painting numerous walls in commercial buildings in the Montreal area. She now lives in the Eastern Townships with her chickens, two children, and husband, who is a wood boat builder. They share an old barn as their creative studio.



MY REVIEW
This colorful book The Brave Young Knight by Karen Kingsbury is a new, better approach to an age old story. Many different knights were trying to do different things to become the new Prince. The competition had events for speed, strength and intelligence. The young, brave knight knew others were better and him in these events, but he did his best. I really like this book, because you don’t have to be the strongest, fastest or smartest, just do your best and be honest. This book has a Christian theme and is a really great book for encouraging children. Another part of the book I really liked was how supportive the young knight’s father was. He was always there for the young knight and keeps encouraging him to try his best.
The illustrator Gabrielle Grimard is really excellent. The pages are so colorful and the faces on the people are so believable and kind looking. With Karen’s words and Gabrielle’s pictures this book is a winner. It is written for 4-8 year old children, but would be great for a couple of years younger or older.
I highly recommend this book and would love to give it more than 5 stars. It is a book that won’t gather dust on your bookshelf. It will be read again and again.

MY REVIEW
I love Karen Kingsbury’s books, but wish the Bailey and Cody story would have ended in the last book. I feel it has gone on to long. Each book has a plot and at least one subplot. I feel the subplot in this book was much better than the main one. It was about Landon and Ashley and it was a real tear jerker. I just love how Landon and Ashley love each other and how she struggles when he isn‘t around.
There are more books in the Bailey and Cody series and even though I wish the series didn’t start I will defineatly read the other ones that are coming out.
I love Karen’s style of writing and her books always keep me interested and would love to read each one of them straight through. I really love her books and Leaving is another fantastic book.
I know why Karen sells so many books and why she has so many followers, because her work is just perfect and everyone of her books has always brought tears to my eyes. She knows how to capture the heart of her readers.
I guess the reason I don’t like another whole series about Bailey and Cody is because I want them to be together already. They are such a perfect couple.
I highly recommend books by Karen Kingsbury and this one is another great one. Her books are one of the few books that I keep to reread later.

Another Karen Kingsbury book that I absolutely love. Shades of blue is so full of true life situations and drama that there is never a boring part. Karen deals with many hard issues and the outcome isn’t always as we thought they would be. In this book you will find bad decisions, heartache, loss, loneliness, forgiveness, peace, happiness and finally joy. Shades of Blue deals with the abortion issue, which is very real in our world.
Ten years ago Brad and Emma made a horrible decision that will haunt them for the rest of their lives if they don’t do something about it. Sometimes when we are young we just don’t make the best decisions and if we don’t seek an older persons advice we make big mistakes. This book is about Emma, Brad, and Laura mainly. Brad and Emma were more than friends 10 years ago, and now Laura and Brad are getting married. Brad feels he can’t go ahead with a new life until he can finish the chapter in his old life. You will see how this impacts all three of them and changes everyone’s lives.
This book will have you crying and rejoicing all at once. Keep your tissues handy there isn’t a doubt you will need them. Some of the scenes are just heart wrenching and so very touching.
I highly recommend this book for you to love and enjoy many times and a great gift to a special friend.

MY REVIEW
Am I surprised at another fantastic book from Karen Kingsbury? No, not at all. As a matter of fact that’s why I love Karen’s books. Each and every one of them is spell binding. I want to read them in one sitting, but also don’t want the book to end.
This book tells us of the continuing story of Keith Ellison and Dayne Matthews as they make their second Christian movie. How they believe that making movies is their mission field.
Then we read about Brandon Paul, America’s newest heartthrob who will be the lead in the newest Christian movie, but doesn’t want anything to do with being a Christian.
Also we read about Andi, Keith’s single daughter who is going to have a baby. Will she keep her baby, that she grows to love or give him up.
The best part of the book to me is the beautiful, sweet love that Bailey {Bailey is the other lead in the movie, but is a hometown girl} and Cody share. Will their love continue to blossom or will circumstances stand in the way. I love how Bailey loves the Lord so completely and follows Him in everything.
This book is a touching, {Keep tissues handy} precious continuing story, but can be read as a stand alone novel. I highly recommend any book by Karen Kingsbury and this book isn’t an exception. If you had a bookcase of books by Karen you would have a fantastic library.

My Review
I’ve read many of Karen Kingsbury’s books, but in my opinion “Unlocked” is her best yet. In this book you will read about Autism, teen suicide, bullying, such deep love for others, second chances and forgiveness.
There are many ways in our lives to be locked into ourselves. Each one of us has something that locks us in.
The main character Holden has autism and it’s neat how the author gives you his outlook on his life and the world. Holden wants everyone to look past the way he is on the outside to see the real him on the inside. I love Holden’s love of people and the way he prays for them.
Ella is another main character who is a precious girl who learns to love the so called unloved people. Ella was part of the in crowd, but hated the way her friends bully those who are smaller or those who are different than they are.
I love the way Karen shares the gospel and tells those who read her books about the Lord. She puts things very clear so anyone can understand them.
With Ella’s love and Holden’s friendship can they change the school? You will have to read this super book to find out.
This wonderful book will make you laugh, cry and just rejoice. “Unlocked” is the best book I’ve read this year. It is more than just a story, it is a book full of lessons we can learn. If you don’t buy any other book this year this is the one for you. It would make a fantastic Christmas gift. A must read. What an enjoyable book. I really LOVED reading it. So you know I highly recommend it.
