God's Colonel by D.I. Telbat A Review

ABOUT THE BOOK
As America collapses and the Antichrist rises as supreme from the carnage, a broken family struggles to survive the devastation. They become entangled with the non-compliant underground Christians, and are caught in the crossfire of End Time plagues that strike the ungodly with fiery judgment.

Emit Dross, a runaway and criminal, returns as an imposter to the community of his troubled youth. Upon arrival, he finds that his hometown has become a military outpost for the Global Security Forces One World Government—the GSF. He soon realizes that his stolen identity may be an asset, though he finds himself tested greatly. Is it too late for Emit to heed the words of the Underground Christian Broadcast playing on the radio stolen from his deceased father?

Correctional Officer Gray Dross agrees to work for and bow to the GSF, therefore he experiences comfort while others struggle to survive. Inside, he is full of hatred and bitterness toward his brother Emit's rebellious youth, and he abandons what once was important to him. Will he continue to live for himself while thousands perish under his guard?

Flo Dross finds solace in her daughter and a stranger who is left at their farm by security officers. Her heartache is lost in the shadow of the 10-year conflict between her brothers. As tensions rise globally, Flo finds her mother's most treasured possession. Will Flo fall back on what her late parents taught them?

The guillotine is thirsty for the blood of the non-compliant Christians. They are under the command of the secretive Colonel O'Regan, who answers to the powerful, demonic General Norvasso, whose eyes are set on the global leadership of New Roma.

The future seems bleak, but the daring perseverance of the unwavering few seeks to salvage the faithful, whose flickering light is becoming ever dimmer. When death seems the only end to the chaos around them, someone guarding a deep secret may be the only hope for the remaining underground believers.

God's Colonel is a 48,000 word End Times Novel by D.I. Telbat, with cover art by Sean Johnson. Join the excitement of this possible scenario of End Time events that includes what many call the Rapture, the 7-year Tribulation, and the rise of the Antichrist. May the Lord be glorified by this writing.

MY REVIEW
I’m totally mesmerized by D.I. Telbat’s books, but this one is the best yet. I could read his books every day and not get enough.
God’s Colonel is an End’s Time book about the antichrist taking over and making everyone pledge allience to him or be killed. In God’s Colonel Emit was a trouble maker growing up in a Christian family and when the End Times events started happening he knows what is going on and works on the Lord’s side.
This book is also about Emit’s brother and sister and how they all become Christians as this book is starting and how they serve the Lord and help other Christians to escape death.
I found this book totally fascinating and didn’t want it to end, but couldn’t read it fast enough. God’s Colonel is exciting, captivating and full of escaping, but also how the Lord has all things in control.
Really love this book and know you would love it. So I’m highly recommending it.

Sea Scribe by D.I. Telbat A REVIEW

ABOUT SEA SCRIBE
In Sea Scribe by D.I. Telbat, a modern-day action-adventure set in the Pacific and the Sea of Japan, we meet Troy Forge who has been stabbed 47 times. Once a correctional officer, Troy knows how to survive and trust God, but every ounce of his faith is tested as he lives to hate the man who scarred and damaged him for life.

As a storm brews on and across the high seas, Troy, though still suffering from pain and loss, sets sail in his customized catamaran on a dangerous smuggling mission. Just days after leaving California's West Coast, the voyage proves to be anything but a smooth trip across the Pacific. Facing many risks and dangers, Troy makes discoveries that change his life forever. And then finally, Troy is presented with the opportunity to harm his attacker.

Contraband smuggler Merrick Jolan is hot after Troy's catamaran to destroy it, or to kill the Christian sailor by way of Jolan's Russian bodyguard, Dmitri Volkov. Even pirates boldly test their greed against Troy's determination, but if Troy cannot meet the Elephant on time, the Christian network may crumble.

Ho Kichun—cut off from the outside world—is a networker for the Christian underground inside North Korea. As he travels secretly through the mountainsides serving the persecuted, he prays to meet a covert contact—if Kichun isn't killed by an assassin first!

Laura Zisk leaves in her wake a broken past that she refuses to face. A professed atheist, this alcoholic tries to run as far from her life as she can, only to be confronted with the hardest test of her being.

Sea Scribe—a 67,000 word stand-alone suspense novel by D.I. Telbat, with cover art by Sean Johnson—reveals the high-octane boldness of Christians who risk everything to assist their foreign brothers and sisters in underground danger and suspense! This high seas adventure will leave you gasping for air as the stormy deep threatens to drown God's people on a new frontier: the forbidden waters off North Korea's east coast. And once again, we see that without sacrifice, there is no redemption.

MY REVIEW
Sea Scribe by D.I. Telbat is a fantastic read. It seems with each of D.I. Telbat’s books I read he is becoming one of my favorite authors.
In each book there are several stories in one. I loved all of the different people and stories involved in Sea Scribe, but the part I really did love is the story of Ho Kichun. How he sacrifices and survives on his own, with only the Lords help. It’s amazing the miracles that happens and how he makes it day by day.
Troy and Laura are so different, but when tragedies happen it brings people together. They are really good for each other and learn to depend on each other.
I really like how at the beginning of this story Troy starts out alone, but before the book is over he has a whole host of friends and helpers.
I really love this story it is so full of adventure and suspense. I couldn’t stop reading because it was that good. Even though I couldn’t read it fast enough I didn’t want it to end. What a fantastic author D.I. Telbat is. I highly recommend Sea Scribe. Also I simply LOVED the ending.

Dark Rule by D.I. Telbat A REVIEW

ABOUT DARK RULE
The COIL Series adventure continues in Dark Rule, Book Three by D.I. Telbat, taking the reader from the South Pacific to the Greek Isles—from the depths of the ocean to the cone of an unstable volcano.

Nathan Isaacson—presumed dead by fellow agents but is now trained by master spy, Luigi Putelli—begins his solo spy career under ex-CIA agent Corban Dowler. When Corban loses contact with a beautiful Chinese agent, he sends Nathan to the South Pacific to locate her.

As Nathan infiltrates the underwater exploration team of a dark foe, Trevor Niles—who is bent on ruling at the expense of the lives of separatist Christians—it proves to be a spy game that tests Nathan's every spiritual and physical muscle.

Two years later, darkness has settled over the Island of Zalzuna in the Greek Isles, when the volcanic island under communist rule is ready to erupt. Nathan is sent to the island to gain intel on missing missionaries, but the light of captive Christians may be no more.

Heather Kooper and her team of Special Forces Christians are called in to assist in a possible rescue attempt, joining two adventurous teenagers—Walter, a chess prodigy, and Brad, a Major League hopeful. Following the trail of the missing Jamison family, the team unearths a dark scheme. COIL operative Nathan Isaacson prays he can save them from the outreached claws about to ensnare them all—even if it costs him his life!

Dark Rule, Book Three in the COIL Series, is a 98,000-word Christian adventure, with cover art by Sean Johnson. Join COIL once again as their light continues to shine in the dark recesses of the world, but there is no redemption without sacrifice…

MY REVIEW
I just love the COIL series. So Dark Rule, Book Three by D.I. Telbat is just another fantastic book. I love to hear how the agents fight against the powers of evil and satan. They do it without killing any one and they always give the evil people a chance to do right and join the Lord’s side.
After book two I wondered if we would hear anymore from Nathan. His fellow agents and friends thought he died. Now Nathan works along. In Dark Rule it is divided into two parts with a span of two years between them. I really liked how the stories were different but were pulled together by a common thread.
In the different cases these guys go on, when they get into a very tight spot I just don’t see any way out, but D.I. Telbat finds a way and it is very exciting and interesting at how they always work out.
These stories are very full of action, adventure and suspense. I could read D.I. Telbat’s books in one sitting, but then the book would end to soon. I’m really looking forward to book four.
If you love suspenseful, action-packed books these books are for you. I highly recommend the COIL series and Dark Rule is an excellent read.

Dark Hearted, Book Two of the COIL Series by D.I. Telbat*A Review

ABOUT DARK HEARTED
“Dark Hearted, the second book in D.I. Telbat's COIL Series, ranks right along with the first...captivating from the beginning... Whether bringing you to tears or keeping you on the edge of your seat, each chapter will have you breathless for more.”—Allison H., U.S.

"Dark Hearted…is what I would consider the perfect suspense book…this is book two of what looks to be a great Christian influenced series. What makes a book great is the amount of involvement the reader has with the characters…a fast paced book with adventure on every page so much better than a movie."—Marsha Randolph (read full review at No Wayz Tired, http://marsharandolph.wordpress.com/)

Dark Hearted, Book Two of the COIL Series by D.I. Telbat, continues with the suspense that began in book one, Dark Liaison, A Christian Suspense Novel.

The Commission of International Laborers' mission is interrupted, and they are once again targeted by a dark enemy bent on hatred and racism. COIL founder, Corban Dowler, has developed commando-style teams, using non-lethal weapons, to extract threatened servants of the Lord from danger zones worldwide. Corban now musters all of his resources to search for his abducted operatives, and hopes to stop the evil intentions of the one they know as Abaddon.

A biochemical weapon is about to change the world, and COIL may be the catalyst—unless their brazen courage and boldness in Christ can change the tide. Where death seems indestructible, Corban Dowler's operatives carry God's love and determination into the midst of the darkness.

Encrypted data finds its way to Corban from Karol Ngolsk in Romania, offering a glimmer of hope. Corban then leads the COIL team through a maze of intrigue and surprises, abductions and persecution, joy and sorrow, love and death—from the grim forests of Europe, to the blistering desert of Africa. Though killing is not COIL's way, the dark hearted one has no such qualms…

Dark Hearted by D.I. Telbat, cover art by Sean Johnson, a 75,000-word Christian fiction, action-suspense novel, continues the adventure as COIL carries on with the Lord's work to protect and rescue His people. And we learn again that…there is no redemption without sacrifice.

MY REVIEW
Dark Hearted, the second book in D.I. Telbat's COIL Series is just as fantastic as book one. I love the mystery and intrigue involved in this story.
We got to meet some new characters and revisit some old from book one. The descriptions of people and places are just fantastic. I love how they describe and talk about the guns.
There were only a few things in this book that I didn’t like, but hate to mention them because this book is so very interesting and  full of suspense that I want everyone to read it. I feel I must say it though. To me I didn’t think it was believable that the group was working on a very important time involving case, but just because of a delay in the plans they went off to another country to help out some Christians for a few days.
The only other thing I didn’t believe was that the COIL group let a reporter come along and help out the group. She could have been a spy or gotten them in serious trouble. Also she had some experience, but not enough to let her into the group. That is only my way of thinking.
All in all I love this book. Dark Hearted is full of all kinds of tension and dangers and keeps you reading and wishing for more. Another wonderful book to read and read again. Highly recommended.

Dark Liaison by D.I. Telbat*A Review

ABOUT DARK LIAISON
In DARK LIAISON, Book One in the COIL Series, we meet protagonist Corban Dowler.

It is an age of prophetic strife when spiritual darkness collides with servants of the Cross. Christians worldwide are persecuted on a heightened level, and while no safety seems to exist, one man steps forward to lend a hand to the defenseless laborers.

Corban Dowler is an old-school spy. Six years ago, he accepted Christ's gift of salvation and then resigned from the morally compromising C.I.A. As Corban desires to fulfill God's Great Commission, he builds an organization called the Commission of International Laborers, (COIL), where he devotes his skills and resources to assist persecuted or kidnapped Christian servants in the most dangerous environments worldwide.

There are times in this age when Corban Dowler must hastily extract missionary families and Christian workers from danger zones before death steals them from their righteous work. For these operations, Corban has developed commando-style teams using non-lethal weapons to extract the threatened or persecuted servants of the Lord.

These covert multiethnic teams are ex-military or ex-CIA, and all believers in Christ.

Satan is every bit the adversary as he operates through his demonic workers of iniquity. They are set on claiming the lives of the righteous that stand for Truth. While COIL is working tirelessly to rescue Christians in need, Satan's followers are placing roadblocks, destroying, and kidnapping believers in Christ to thwart the efforts of COIL. The operatives find themselves prey to the very wickedness that they are committed to fight, and a battle between good and evil emerges.

Dark Liaison, written by D.I. Telbat, cover art by Carrie E. Smith, is an 83,000-word Christian action-suspense novel of espionage and spiritual warfare. This Book One in the COIL Series contrasts the lives of satanic antagonists bent on hatred with the COIL laborers who protect the Christian men and women servants standing for righteousness. And we learn that… there is no redemption without sacrifice.

MY REVIEW
D.I. Telbat is a new author for me and I just love his style. This book Dark Liaison is a book I will cherish and reread. I will read any of D.I.’s other books, because he’s that great of an author.
This story is my favorite kind. It talks about the persecuted church and is a suspense/secret agent type of book. I couldn’t put this book down and I so look forward to book two in the series.
The characters are highly developed and very likable or unlikable. I didn’t know how Dark Liaison was going to end and I love that in a book. I also loved all of the different disguises that Corban used. He is quite an intriguing character.
Corban was once a spy and thought nothing of killing the enemy but now he is a Christian and can’t kill anymore. So Corban and a band of other individuals form a group that gets Christians and Missionaries out of harm from religious persecution. They are many times in dangerous situations, but never do any of them kill or harm another human. It is so interesting the many ways they do this.
I really can’t say enough for all of the wonderful parts of this book. If you never read any other book this year, you need to read Dark Liaison. It is such a fantastic book, full of excitement and adventure. I highly recommend this book and wish I could give it more than 5 stars.
