Noble DVD Review

Christina Noble overcomes the harsh difficulties of her childhood in Ireland to discover her destiny on the streets of Saigon. A true story

Vietnam. 1989. Fourteen years after the end of the war. When Irish woman Christina Noble flies into Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) she leaves behind an extraordinary life story. But the best is yet to come. Christina lands in a country "that she wouldn't be able to show you on a map". With a few dollars, a dream and her own hard-won courage, she is about to change everything. For hundreds of thousands of people. Forever. NOBLE is the inspirational true story of a woman who believes that it only takes one person to make a difference. And of how she is proved right.

Christina Noble dreamed a dream, but it wasn’t the type of dream that brings peace in the midst of trouble or joy of a happier future. Christina Noble dreamed of war-soaked Vietnam, of children in trouble, of cries for help. While some people might run from such a dream, Noble knew that the dream was from God, and she pursued that dream faithfully. Because of her, thousands of children have been saved.

MY REVIEW
Noble is an incredible true story of a dream that rescued a million lives. She grew up in a poor part of town with a father that was an alcoholic and a mother who died to young. Noble and her siblings were all sent to foster care, her father just didn‘t want to take care of them. She wasn’t loved very much when she was young, but that didn’t stop her from caring and trying to make a difference in others lives.
One night she dreamed about Vietnam and the poor children there. Later she make it to Vietnam and saw first hand all of the children who lived on the streets and ate out of the garbage.  She knew something had to be done and she would be the one to start things up.
Christina didn’t have much money, but she spoke with many companies, oil companies etc.. She practically begged them for help. No one helped until one company did and everything went up from there.
This DVD is an amazing retelling of Christina Noble’s life and the lives she touched. It is a very touching and inspiring movie of what can be done if only one person cares. Highly recommended.
